We spent the 4th of July in Austin MN soaking up the sun. It was a beautiful and hot day and we were fortunate to be lounging by the pool. Jody's friend was so gracious and let us hang out at her "mansion" while she was away. Jaxon loves to swim! He was splashing so much I think he swallowed a few gallons of pool water by the time we were done. He swam swam swam and then crashed on their living room floor for a great 2 1/2 hour nap. While he napped, we played basket ball in the pool (P-I-G in honor of Hormel), Nate did an Olympic diving show for us, Duane and Nate had a cannon ball face-off and me? Well, I floated around the pool on an air mattress and judged the cannon ball trials of course. (Duane won! He has a little more experience and a few more pounds than Nate and that really helped push the waves over the edge). After we were all water logged, we went back to Jody's for a delicious BBQ. Nothing beats Duane's ribs and corn on the cob on the grill. Thanks again Jod and Du-bob for a great 4th of July.
